Atletico also took advantage of the 10-man Deportivo team to win 1-0 through danger man Antoine Griezmann at the Vincente Calderón. They remain unbeaten in their liga campaign. Atletico lie in 3rd place a point behind Barcelona and two behind league leaders Madrid. A confirmed return of Tiago boosts their squad but isn't expected to start on Sunday. After a slim win midweek after beating Bayern Munich, Atletico head into this fixture with a lot of confidence and are favorites to win this following their unbeaten run so far.
Valencia however seem to be back on their toes and will do whatever it takes to nib a win over Atletico.
It promises to be an exciting fixture no matter the outcome.
