LA LIGA PEVIEW: CELTA vs BARCELONA

Celta have won the last three games in all competitions after the start to their season went amiss.

And Barca boss Luis Enrique, who coached Celta for a single season before moving the other way, has described them as a 'dangerous team' ahead of the match, and expects a bigger challenge.

The La Liga champions are placed at the second place on the table before the 7th round, just one point adrift of fierce rivals Real Madrid, and will be fighting to collect all the three points with the hope that Real Madrid drop points at home against Eibar, then Barca are likely to capitalise.
And Celta is placed at 13th place on the table.

Who Said What-

Andreu Fontas (Celta): "It is going to be very special to face my old club (Barca) as I still have very good friends there”.

Luis Enrique: " We are well aware of the difficult last few games we have had against them. Celta are a demanding team to play against both with and withot the ball."
"They are a dangerous team due to their way of playing. We know it will be tough. They have lost important players like Nolito but have signed well.

Big Blows-

Both the teams will be playing without their most important players from the last meetings.

Celta would miss the magic of Nolito who joined Manchester City this season.
Lionel Messi's presence would be missed for the Catalan side due to his injury.

History-

In the last eight meetings between the two teams, Barcelona have won 5, lost 2 and drew 1.

The biggest margin win for Celta came on the 22nd September last season by 4-1
And for Barça by the 6-1 victory in La Liga last season. With a hat-trick by Suárez and one goal each by Lionel Messi, Neymar and Rakitic.

Predicted Line-ups

Celta- S.Alvarez, Roncaglia, Cabral, S.Gomez, Johnny, Radoja, M.Diaz, Sisoto, Wass, Bongonda, Lago Aspas.

Barcelona- Ter Stegen, S.Roberto, Pique, Mathieu, Digne, André Gomes, Busquets, Iniesta, Arda, Luis Suárez, Neymar.

Barcelona will be doing everything to win the important 3 points today.
